This spring school, organized by the
ANR SOCOT,
(Stochastic Orders and Constrained Optimal Transport) is aimed at PhD students,
Postdoctorate students and researchers.
The goal is to introduce them to state of the art research in the fields of Weak Optimal Transport,
Wasserstein Barycenters and their applications, via four mini-courses given by established specialists
of those fields.
The mini-courses (4h30 each) will be given from Monday 30th of March at 14h
to Thursday 2nd of April at 12h30 by :
Agnès Desolneux : OT for Gaussian Mixture Models : theory, applications and extensions,
Andrea Natale : Metric extrapolation, signed Wasserstein barycenters and applications,
Guillaume Carlier : Wasserstein barycenters and applications,
Julio Backhoff : 'Most Gaussian' martingales and nonlinear optimal transport.
We are currently considering offering a crash course on (Weak) Optimal Transport on Monday morning.
This is subject to sufficient interest by participants.
Please indicate on your registration whether or not you would like this crash course to take place.
The organizers are :
Thierry Champion (Imath, Toulon),
Théo Lavier (Imath, Toulon).
The partners of this event are :
- The ANR Project SOCOT
- Stochastic Orders and Constrained Optimal Transport
- Le laboratoire Imath -- Institut de Mathématiques de Toulon et du Var
- L'UTLN -- Université de Toulon.
